Bright encounters

In the Netherlands there are over 2400 (!) species of moths – in comparison to just about 53 species of butterflies. I’ve become mesmerised by their modes of existence and beautiful diversity. With a contrasting bio-rhythm to our own, these (predominantly) nocturnal flyers are active in the absence of light. Although amidst dark surroundings, my encounters with moths have been bright.
